Details: SL-348 DRY-FOAM/BONNET CARPET SHAMPOO CONCENTRATE is a mixture of high foaming surfactants, resin salts, optical brighteners and deodorizers formulated for quick and effective carpet cleaning. It may be used with rotary scrub, dry foam machines, and bonnets. SL-348 is safe and gentle to carpet fibers, yet strong enough to remove stubborn soil and grease. It will not build up or dull carpet fibers, but evaporates to a dry, powdery residue instead of a sticky, waxy residue common with other carpet care products. The high foaming surfactants in SL-348 break up and encapsulate soil. Then they dry to a friable powder that can easily be removed by vacuuming. This product is an excellent detergent for the removal of both oil and water-soluble soils, and is particularly suitable for removal of coffee, blood and ink stains. SL-348 DRY-FOAM CARPET SHAMPOO CONCENTRATE contains resin salts that act as soil retardants coating the carpet fibers to seal them from spots and stains that would otherwise penetrate and be extremely difficult to remove. These resins also leave fibers more resistant to soil build up. This makes regular vacuuming more effective.
SL-348 contains optical brighteners to brighten and sharpen colors restoring the carpet to its original beauty.
Directions:
Preparation For Rug and Carpet Cleaning
1. Remove furniture and vacuum carpet thoroughly.
2. Spot clean badly soiled areas.
3.Dilute shampoo according to directions, scrub corners. Rotary Scrub Machines
1. Prepare solution of 1 part concentrate to 24 parts warm water (5 ounces per gallon).
2. Shampoo a 5 ft. X 5 ft. section with nylon or other soft bristle scrub brush on a floor machine. Repeat at 90-degree angle.
3. Repeat until entire carpet is clean. Heavily soiled areas may require a second application.
4. Rake or brush up pile and allow carpet to dry completely.
5. Vacuum thoroughly and replace furniture.
Dry Foam Machines
1. Prepare solution of 1 part concentrate to 16 parts warm water (8 ounces per gallon).
2. Apply solution to a 5 ft. X 5 ft. section through dry foam machine in one direction. Repeat at 90-degree angle.
3. Follow steps 3, 4, & 5 above.
Foam type shampooing dries in approximately one hour. Rotary scrub applicator shampooing requires up to six hours, depending on carpet thickness, humidity, and amount of solution used.
